Good idea on parking far away. That's what I do and I parked far away enough that I become impatient and jog to the building. I jog both ways when it's cold and raining. Lol

All it means to go over hours or anything else, is just another way for the government to scam you out of money. No one worries about how long someone has been driving in their car. Truckers are the most regulated and ripped off people in the country.

Pro tip. If you drive a newer car it will tell you when someone is in your blind spot on the side mirrors . As soon as that light turns off that’s when you can make your move back over. This does not apply to driving in the city you aren’t required to give a specific amount of room to anyone in heavier traffic as long as you turn your turn signal on BEFORE you BEGIN your merge.

if its not a LAW you need to provide an explanation as to why people should comply, for everyones safety. unfortunately, people say no just to say no unless there’s something in it for them. I never knew how much truckers do,what they have to look out for, and how hard it is to control and operate something that big until i sat down and spoke to one.

My livestock hauling tip of the week: please do as the man says for semis AND trucks hauling livestock. This becomes much easier when a driver understands stopping distances and is visually and spatially aware of their vehicle.

My driver tip is not to try and pass another truck on an incline, going 1mph faster, causing traffic on the freeway
